Since noone else has started a thread here (and my landmarks are a disaster area) I was hoping to start a thread with places to visit, buy from and generally take a look. These are not places created by public works (for an excellent list of those please see June's fantastic "Wonders of Nautilus" card!)...instead these are places created by residents of Nautilus or have content that is Nautilean themed. Since, I do not own these places (and I'm not sure what the etiquette is in this situation) I have decided to give coordinates to public spaces right next to the locations in this list (unless the owner of the site gives me permission to link directly onto their property). I will not include any links to places that I believe to be private or personal in nature. Unfortunately, the links to public spaces will often place you in the sim area and then give you a red arrow...follow the red arrow to find the location. Please jump in if you know of great places to visit! I'll add as I have time, I have so many more great places I've seen :-)

If you do happen to own one of these places and want it removed please just let me know...

*Autumn Elements*
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Shalim/202/111/23
- Nicely designed space, with a must have free map of Nautilus! Also contains a store with various goods including a Nautilean fountain.

Apollo's Stables
-
- Buy a horse to ride around Nautilus, or take a ride on the demo.
- Sorry, I haven't put the link in yet...I rode off on a demo before getting the SL url  :P I'm sure I'll fly past soon again.

Memory Lane
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Hannibal/51/99/64
- A bar to hang out and listen to some tunes

Michael Jackson Fan Club House and Memorial
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Yamm/29/90/24
- As the title suggests it is a Michael Jackson Fan Club House, but it also has free games and the like.

Nautilean Institute
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Hanno/44/25/23
- I really like the architecture/design of this place.

Nautilus Harbor Yacht Club & Visitor Center
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Yamm/118/89/24
- Not yet fully set up, but you can pick up a great little free sailing boat at the front.

P Low Villa's
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Danascott/31/33/35
- You can find villa's that are smaller in size and prims that the LL supplied. I was personally very happy to find this place.

Soraya Till Galleries
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Yamm/223/10/24

Temple of Zeus
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Elissa/131/22/23

The Citadel Stage
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Himilco/35/7/64
- If there is a concert on, this is where it is at (3rd Saturday of the month I believe)

The Plaza
- http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Anath/154/78/64
- Well, personally I like to like to lay across the grand piano and listen to it play, but you could also play the drums.

Good idea Kaitlan and I haven't seen some on your list.

Here's some more:

Nautilus Art at 2 Lag Street in Malchus
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Malchus/42/174/64
Yes the place with the graffiti.  Pay attention to details.

Scarlet Oxygen Cinema
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Hamilcar/243/219/24
Looks some some good movies on the menu

Yin Yang
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Nautilus%20-%20Yarikh/209/109/65
Resident created plaza

And I'll just slip in one Linden build since we were posting about Barbarossa here and there.   If you want to see the Secret Chamber guarded by the Pasted Nurbs Spheres:

On the island, find the green bottle wedged in the sand,
At the bottle, go directly west walking over the sand then into the water.
Keep walking until you are at an elevation between 8 and 9,
Head directly north and you will soon come upon the Secret Chamber

I am very impressed by all this information...and many will find it useful (especially as we succeed  in spreading the word about this site).

(Kaitlan, yes, it's fine to post a link. I'll try myself in an edit [my modem is bad and I want to get this posted before I crash again!)

(June, now I can't wait for my system to be stable enough for me to go find the secret chamber.....!!)

There are definitely some new ones to me in that list--either they're new since the Summer Festival or didn't apply to be in the Program. I look forward to visiting them.

So, did the Concert take place yesterday? If so, good attendance?

(I'm still on the ancient, takes-five-minutes-for-any-page-to-load-and-SL-is-impossible comp, I'm sorry to say. I thought there might be some real deals in the stores what with PCs loaded with Vista being dinosaurs after 10/22....but apparently the merchants have simply been content to sell off those PCs and have the shelves sit empty for however-many weeks. So...more shopping tomorrow.)

Thanks, Kaitlan, for your continuing work on this list!
