Hey y'all. 
First I need to apologize for not being there to help.  I am suffering from time as all meetings these days are when I to am working in RL.
For now I just want to bring you to the attention to Avatars United.

It is a new site that mimics Facebook but for Avatars.  I am there along with Nova Albion and Bay City however someone owns the group Nautlilus City Alliance. 
I just noticed this. 
Kendall Dagger is the one who owns it...
Is anyone interested in gaining this Group title back?  I don't see Kendall in the group list.  Let me know If I can help.

Scratch that.  The owner of the group is   Micheal Sohmers.
I IM'd him and he "plans" on giving rightfull ownership of the group to the owner.  He did the samne thing with Bay City Alliance and kept his word.  Good Luck!

Well, I have not used AU. I do prefer the traditional forums like this one. Plus, I am not at the whim of another company who is going through growing pains and changing gears at a rapid pace. These forums are completely open source and hosted in Scottsdale, AZ; a stones throw from me.

Interesting. The fact that the system permits people to register under any name at all opens up a "business" just like the Domain Names business (ie, grabbing names you think people will pay you to give up.)

I just registered, but haven't figured it out yet.   It appears to me that LL is trying to enhance communication among avatars (for example group limits) but using external tools.

That would be cool to get the group name for us.

Thanks Lisa, I'll check with Michael. I did get SL Nautilus City Alliance just in case as well. Thanks for the original post.
